Passover is just around the corner, and planning out your Passover holiday menu is likely on your mind.

What are some of the issues that you typically have around Passover food? Do you have any dietary restrictions, allergies or conditions that preclude you from eating the typical Passover fare?

Common complaints and struggles:

For many years, I struggled finding resources to have a healthy holiday without the heaviness, constipation and weight gain. This workshop really is the resource that I wish I had known about years ago for myself.

I am inviting you to a Passover-themed food preparation workshop that I’m hosting on Sunday, March 26th at 3pm PT. I would be honored to have you join me.

AGENDA

Here’s what we’ll be covering:

  • Overly-processed foods to avoid

  • Healthy foods that do not require Passover certification

  • Certain holiday food staples that you can easily make yourself (and avoid all the chemicals and preservatives)

  • Matzo, grape juice and Seder meal alternatives

  • Delicious recipes to enjoy across the entire holiday

Passover need not be filled with cheap carbs, low-fiber/high-sugar pastries, additive-laden foods and heavy, constipation-inducing meals. It can be enjoyed with fresh fruits and veggies, as well as many other whole and unprocessed foods that do not even require specific Passover certification. You just need to know where to shop and what questions to ask.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll feel so much better about the food that you eat on Passover. And it will be fun as well!

ABOUT ME

 Michael Tanenbaum is the founder and editor-in-chief of Consciously Kosher, an online resource dedicated to educating both the Jewish community and the general public on the overall health benefits of eating a kosher diet rich in nutritious, predominantly unprocessed whole foods. 

Michael has worked in tech & social media for over a decade, where he dealt with extreme work-life balance issues that negatively impacted his health.

He holds a BA from The University of Chicago, an MBA from Pepperdine University and a Culinary Nutrition certification from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition.
